So the universe decided it was my turn to take an L on the computer front. I've been without a laptop for some time now. I'm using my dad's not so cool laptop to bring you an update from OPERATION BLACK FRIDAY

The Bag Hunt: MCM AGAIN!

I woke up to a Twit pic from Blushwore Blush Whore Online with this glorious throwback of perfection in the form of MCM. If you follow me on twitter (@holdmypurse) you will have taken notice that every now and then I remind my followers that I'm on a never ending MCM bag hunt. They appear to be more visible in the fashion playground, but I still havent found that perfect style that blends classic with trendy.

Most people remember the MCM boom of the 80's, with the brand being adorned by rappers, pop singers, even the B-boys. MCM sweat shirts, hats, bags, belts, luggage etc. It kinda puts you in mind of how we feel about Louis Vuitton today.



Currently both BLOOMINGDALES and SAKS carry MCM bags. I have seen a style that comes close to what I want but no one has hit the nail on the head. This pic however..set me free (c) June Ambrose
